Saturday, July 11th, 2009Being a fan of Animated movies, I have been looking forward for the Ice Age 3. Reviews online say it is indeed an awesome movie and its even released in Dubai.
Now since I’m planning a sudden trip to India, I don’t know how I’m going to find some time for that…
Anyways last night I watched the last 2 parts of the movie and it so amazingly done.

MySpace Custom Design
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009Few months back I had tried working on the structure of MySpace band profiles so as to make custom themes for myself and provide it as service to artists and bands here. Infact there are many companies providing professional myspace design but not many in middle east. But I got bugged when I tried doing this since the overlay div showed rendered differently in each browser. I know that is one big challenge as a web designer/developer but then I quit.
Now after I redesigned my website I wanted to re work on MySpace as it was the only odd thing as far as uniformity of the design is concerned. I redesigned the WP Default theme CSS and now blog and shop looks good with the rest of the site. Twitter only allows to change the background image and text/links color, so done that also.
Today, finally took sometime to fix the div overlay issues and got it right. I’m excited as I have all my profiles with same design and theme.
I had always mentioned, this website and server is one way or other a play ground for me 
, I’m a self taught intermediate programmer and so most of the projects are done with more trial and error process. And to my surprise the MySpace page looks perfect in most of the browsers. I tested it on IE 5.5/6/7/8 versions, Safari, Firefox Mac and PC. I call IE 6 a BITCH as it has given me big headaches when CSS is done.
If any bands, artists need your myspace page to be designed, let me know

Facebook doesn’t support the profile editing, else I would have dug up something for that too. But still I managed to make a simple Facebook application ‘More of me’ that helps me extend my profile. It has 3 xml to php functions to read updates from this blog, latest update from my twitter, an xspf music player and YouTube feed reader. See it live here
Last few days been very geeky with codes and tags.
Some really interesting stuff with music is happening as well.
