Worthy enough

Dear All,

The poems posted here are those I wrote for competitions when I was in 11th and 12th grade… :D , So expect only that much out of it…

I took Life, as sweet journey
The more I went, the more I knew
Life as such, is not worthy…

I loved a girl, she betrayed me
I tried dying, but just no use
I made up my mind, fell in love
Again but though, I was true…
Her mother was wrong, said ‘NO’ to me

Why am I, so unlucky
to make my dreams, True for good.
I wish my dreams, come true once
to trust my life, is worthy enough

World of love

Beyond the words could say,
Beyond the sights could reach,
A beautiful world, a peculiar world,
Where dreams are colourful
And wind blow with fragrance. . .

Where rose bloom in plenty
And birds sing at their best.
Where stars shine brightest
And moonlit nights smile out.

I wish I were there. . .
To part with the grievance of life
To fill my heart with happy thoughts
To see the jovial scene of green
And to mock at the naught bee;

Withered Dreams

The darkness of heart was lightened
With touch of a dream…
…a touch of thought…
the streets of heaven
beckoned my soul
for my life…was for none…

I dreamt of a flower
that stole my nights
but all in vain…
i still realize..

A wink of eyes
wrote my fate
Oh! world of times
Know the truth
Withered dreams
Are painful to core
